Meet the pilot
Neil is a certified Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor with over 500 hours at the controls. What began as curiosity, Neil started flying simulators and remote controlled aircraft at a very young age. At 16, Neil completed his first solo, only to become a certified pilot at the FAA's minimum age of 17 the following year. Neil has experience working with Cirrus Aircraft, AOPA, and Aviation Finance Company.
Outside of the cockpit, Neil is a master rated scuba diver, competitive ice hockey goalie, and amature mobile app developer. He is currently pursuing a dual Finance and Astrophysics degree from The George Washington University with the expectation to graduate in 2017.
Neil has previously blogged his training experience and aviation opinions. Additionally, he hasn't missed an Oshkosh Airventure since 2011 and frequently visits local fly-in's around the northeastern US.
